BCI Right of Access is for obtaining your own Utah criminal-history record. It is different from searching a county jail, court case or third-party mugshot page.

UDC uses Access Corrections. The official page lists 1-866-345-1884 for telephone deposits and currently states a $6.95 phone or internet transaction fee.

Facility kiosk

Kiosks are located at the main visiting entrances. Bring the inmate’s full name and offender number. Published transaction fees vary by payment type.

Mail deposit

Use the official payment form and send funds to the UDC Finance Office. The agency specifically says not to mail funds directly to the prison.

Current fraud warning: UDC tells families not to send funds to Pigeonly in Las Vegas. Use only the payment routes linked from the official UDC page.

Request the report from the agency that created it. A city police report belongs with that city, a sheriff report with the county and a Utah Highway Patrol record with DPS.

Collect official proof Use certified dispositions, amended charges, release records or agency letters rather than screenshots from another private website.

Submit to the record custodian Use the official form or GRAMA portal and describe the exact entry that needs review.

Retain the response Save the confirmation, staff response and corrected official document for later private-site removal requests.

Clear eligible records

Utah Expungement, Clean Slate and Private-Site Removal

Utah has both petition-based expungement and automatic Clean Slate processes. Eligibility depends on the complete criminal history, not only the single record shown on a mugshot page.
